The Department of Management (DOM) was established in 2007 as part of the Faculty of Management at the Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre, Jind. Its main goal is to promote academics and research in emerging areas of business studies. The regional centre later became Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU) on July 25, 2014. The Department of Management offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with dual specializations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Business Analytics and Intelligence. In 2015, the department began offering the Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in management. In addition, in 2022, the department started the BBA four-year full-time program at the undergraduate level. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a four-year professional undergraduate course in Business Administration based on the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020, with multiple entries and existing options. The department also offers a Certificate Course in Entrepreneurship Development (three months duration) and a Post Graduate Diploma in d``’kd m/kferk (one-year duration) to impart entrepreneurial skills in labeling, packaging, positioning, and branding of farm products. The department's faculty members are young, energetic, qualified, and diverse, providing a broad view and understanding of business studies. Their approach to pedagogy combines industrial visits and research studies with a strong emphasis on issues relevant to societal transformation. The department's alumni have made significant contributions to various sectors, including the corporate world, government administration, and entrepreneurship. The department actively organizes seminars, workshops, faculty development programs for university and college teachers, and lecture series, inviting prominent industrialists, business professionals, and academicians.
