National Service Scheme (NSS) is a noble experiment in academic expansion. It inculcates the spirit of voluntary work among the students and teachers through sustained community interactions. It brings out academic institutions closer to society. It shows how to combine knowledge and action to achieve results, which are desirable for com-munity development. NSS at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University was established with the objective of providing the youth with an opportunity to develop their overall personality by taking part in various Social Service Schemes.
