Day 2 of Language, Life, and Aptitude Skill Training Program at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind
Jind, [15/06/2023] The ongoing two-week Language, Life, and Aptitude Skill Training Program at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, continued with great enthusiasm on its second day. The program, organized by the Training and Placement Cell of the university in collaboration with Mahindra Pride Classroom, aims to enhance the skills and abilities of the students for their holistic development. The Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Dr. Ranpal Singh, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Training and Placement Cell in organizing such a comprehensive program. He emphasized the importance of acquiring diverse skills and applauded the participation of the students. The Registrar of the University, Prof. Loveleen Mohan, also commended the program's objectives and highlighted the significance of such initiatives in shaping the students' overall development.
Dr. Anupam Bhatia, Director Training and Placement Cell said that the Cell is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for the students' growth and success. He informed that on Day 2, four parallel sessions were conducted, focusing on different types of skills to empower the students. The four sessions included focussed training on Life Skills, Soft Skills, Communication Skills and Interview Skills. The sessions provided valuable insights into facing life challenges and equipped the participants with essential tools to overcome them through group discussions, case studies and individual presentations. Participants learned about the significance of body language and other aspects of soft skills, such as confidence, which play a vital role in personal and professional success. These sessions aimed to enhance not only English-speaking skills but also quality speaking and writing skills, enabling the students to express themselves effectively. Students were provided with valuable one on one practice sessions on how to face interviews confidently and make a lasting impression on potential employers.
Additionally, a special session titled "I am Unique & Good Health for Good Life" was organized exclusively for male students of the university. Renowned psychologist, Sh. Naresh Jaglan, affiliated with the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi, conducted this insightful session, providing valuable insights into maintaining good mental health and embracing one's uniqueness. He sensitized the students to know about themselves. He said that a person should live in his originality to live a stress free life. He also asked about the mobile addiction among the youth and after that he communicated the ways to come out from Mobile Addiction.
The Language, Life, and Aptitude Skill Training Program is a remarkable endeavor of the Training and Placement Cell of the University in collaboration with Mahindra Pride Classroom to equip the students with essential skills to excel in their personal and professional lives.
